How can you tell if you haven't eaten enough?

    I haven't been hungry for long today and I have eaten only 1300 calories... This is bad, right? I need to eat more so my body doesn't eat muscle?

    Also, would 2000 per day be too few? I'm trying to lose weight, obviously...

    it depends on your weight

    obviously if you are trying to put on size and muscle, 3000-3500 calories would be the target

    But to lose weight... 2000-2500 would be a better goal.

    It depends on your bodyweight itself though.

    thanks. this helps. I ended up eating a lot tonight, but still under my goal of 2200.

    I did this weekend. It gives me uncontrollable munchies. I ate a shitton of thai fried rice and then a bunch of guacamole. Tons of candy and chocolate covered pretzels the night prior. My entire week's progress (probably water weight, no doubt) set back in 2 nights. :wtc:
