i own a few domains. only 1 ive paid extra to get the private registration. a couple of others i have just entered fake information.

but the "parent" domain - the domain i 1st signed up with hostgator under, is a .ca and that requires 100% legit info. i dont want my .com being connected to the .ca in anyway.

Google iptools and do a WHOIS lookup on your domains. So long as the e-mail addresses are valid you don't need to worry about your information being real or not.

Just make sure the e-mail address under the contacts are ones you check at the very least occasionally.

    Neither does co.uk

I own a few. But all it shows is my address, which I really don't care too much about.
