How bad is it to do legs the day after basketball?

    I play basketball on Sunday. I work out 5x a week in this fashion:

    Mon: legs
    Tues: chest
    Wed: back
    Thurs: arms
    Fri: shoulders/some oly lifts
    Sat: off
    Sun: ~1 hour of basketball

    My legs are never sore from basketball, but I'm afraid it still might be a bad idea. If it is, how should I structure my week?

    Edit: Also, if I wanted to add in one more day of basketball (~1 hour), what would be the best day for it?

    It's fine.

    I workout 4 - 5 times a week and play several full-court bball games at least 3 times a week. Often I have to do the legs the day after... You just go in and do it.

    I have no qualms doing it...have been for a while now, but I just want to make sure I'm not impeding my own progress by doing so.

    its very easy to just question progress all the time, i went through a phrase of trying to perfect everything all the time etc.

    But just do this, make sure your getting stronger, and just go in bust your ass.

    Swapping legs and chest wouldn't hurt either if its still bothering you.

    I play soccer on Sundays and I do legs on Tuesday. Giving it one day seems to work pretty good for me.
