    Through your chest?

Through your stomach? This doesn't really make sense to me because it feels like it would counteract you holding your diaphraghm up.

It just makes it really hard to hold it in.

the main reason anybody trains stomach vaccuums is to prepare for posing onstage, and if I am performing a vaccuum pose and need breath after 30 seconds or so, I will take a deep breath, exhale, and vaccuum again

that being said, when I do vaccums I do each set like this...

:10 hold, :10 breath, repeat five times = 1 set, for three or four sets with 1:00 rest between

most stuff I read on the internet says breathe though. I find that the issue is always that I run out of breath, not that I have to let my stomach out because I can't hold it any more.
