Long time, no see. How the hell is everyone doing? Yeah, I know, I've been gone, for like, forever, but...well, I have checked in to browse some posts ever now and then (like you care).

Anyhow, not much is new. Up to about 40 now, so, needless to say, I haven't given up.

Lately, well, I've been trying to go the class III route. Got a Form 4 that'll be approved either this week or next for a .22 can and then I'm sending off papers for a .45 can this week.

Here's some .22 eye candy as far as the .22 can goes --

Yeah...I've got a standard thread protector, but, what the hell, ya know? I've got a spare FH laying around, so why shouldn't I use it.

I mean, damn, there ain't no room on either of these: :noes:

I've got a local guy wo makes suppressors. He's top notch and will service/replace for life. I've shot his cans beside many other branded cans, and honestly, I can't tell much difference. As with almot all .22 suppressors, or all suppressors in general, there's only about a +/- 5dB difference between manufacturers. Why pay $600 for a name when $240'll do the same? Not to mention, the can is fully servicable.

You should hear the damned thing on the 77/22. It's more quite than my Daisy pellet gun. I was floored! :naughty:

Only about 45 minutes away. :wavey:

If you need the name of the guy, let me know. The .45 can I'm getting was very reasonably priced and includes a booster. You know you want one! Also, a kinda cool thing is that I can pick "custom" serial numbers. Whatever I want is a go! My name is Sterling, so, well, the .45 can is "Sterling-1". Some may say "ghey" but it'll make things easier when sorting/storing paperwork. The .22 can wasn't an option because, well, I just didn't ask at the time.

Indian Creek, where the hell is that?

Hell, I drive to Mid Carolina Rifle Club -- 50 miles. Or, to Shooter's Choice -- 35 miles.

That's nice that you got someone local to work on it if you get a bad baffle strike or something. I have a hard time telling the difference between .22 cans too.

It's near Whitmire, but it's a DNR rifle range.

MCRC would probably be more than an hour drive for me.

    Un-possible!

If you're in Irmo, just go 10 minutes down I-26, 5 minutes down I-77, 10 minutes down Fish Hatchery, and you're practically there. That ain't no hour!

Hmmm... I must've been thinking about the Orangeburg club that has the ridiculous joining fee.

How the fuck are you getting from Irmo to I-77 in 10 min? That doesn't seem right, as I occasionally have to drive down to the Bluff Rd exit. I think 20 min is more reasonable. :hsugh:

IIRC it was the thing between your bro and your parents.

What surgery? You gotta stop disappearing for so long. :o

Yeah, bro is doing better. My parents sent him to the Savannah School of Art and Design, and he's doing better. Kinda a last straw, but maybe he'll grow up now. Drugs and drinking problems don't help much.

As far as the surgery -- long story short, I popped my bicep tendon at work. It seperated clean from the bone at my forearm just below the elbow. That happened 10 May. I had it repaired by screwing the tendon back into the bone. Got some good scars. Was outta work for 14 weeks, went from splint, to soft cast, to hard cast, to robo arm. I've been on light duty (answering phones) at work since mid/late August. This friday, I should be released back to my job selling appliances.

So there you have it. My life in a nutshell.

Actually, I said ten minutes to I-26 and five minutes to I-77 -- so, 15 mins total from Irmo to I-77.

Hey, I drive a 350Z -- so I kinda drive like a bat outta hell.

I drive a Camaro SS, and have my own lead-foot tendencies. I still think you're a bit off. :hsughno:
