that's the stock i have. the price is a bit high, and the reserve isn't met, so i wouldn't buy that rifle. it's got more than that in parts, but custom 10/22s don't have a good resale value, plus u'd still have to buy optics. i'd go on rimfirecentral and watch the classifieds. you can usually find better deals there.

    here's the stock website

    it's black now actually:)

it was red, but it's the same brand and model of stock. i'm just waiting for my OD green and black VQ carbon barrel w/ compensator to come back. i'd sell you my stainless barrel, but Minus already has dibs on it.

you'd need a barrel, and it's easy as hell to put together. just need the right size allen wrench and it all comes apart. then you should buy some internal parts, like a VQ hammer and sear

It's a bolt on deal. If you bought the barrel and stock all you would need to install them is a flathead screwdriver for the takedown screw and an allen wrench for the barrel clamp. 10 minute install, tops.

the barrel that i have on it in the pic is 120 new, i'm sellin mine for 80. it's real accurate. i'd hope that if u bought a 10/22, it'd come w/ a trigger, but some new internal parts would make it more accurate. you don't need internals, they just make it a little smoother.

the stock just comes w/ the wood. you'd have to buy a stock 10/22 to work on first. the barrel in the pic is stainless, but my new barrel is OD green and black.

it's this one, except the carbon fiber part is painted OD green

http://ruger22.com/newpages/newindex.htm has instructions to install the mods you will want.

buffer, take down screw, new trigger, magazine release......

i am not sold on his products, but he has a pretty good basic howto section on the 10/22 rifle.

your gonna need to buy this if your building:
reciever (the only FFL required part)
    trigger kit
    bolt kit
stock (you would want your stock to fit the diameter of your barrel)
    barrell (standard or bull barrell)

if i were you, i would buy a wally world special 10/22 and start upgrading from there. www.rimfirecentral.com is a great place to learn about building your own.

yea, im still kicking around the idea of building one as i got a ss barell and wood stock at a gun show. But then i realized what a pain in the ass it is to build, so im on the lookout for a cheap one nearby.

there was one website that sells them for 74.99 and 68.99 for SS and black respectivly

    ah, here it ishttp://www.shootersdiscount.com/cart/

rimfirecentral has people selling stuff for pretty good deals, i should head on there again.

all these threads make me want a 10/22 real bad.
