Now for the best part. The pictures and other things that have happened during these trips.

I will be driving this 1969 Camaro SS. It will now be a Fuel Injected 502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy. It is backed with a Borg/Warner T-56 six speed and sits on a custom BMR Suspension.

This is the guy who will be with me on the tour. He is going to be piloting his 68 Camaro vert. LS6 with a magnacharger. The car is also six speed equipped and makes 530 to 540 rwhp. Fun car to drive. Absolutely gorgeous.

It should be a fun tour.

For those who don't know, this is my third year to be doing the LONG HAUL.

In 2008 I took this on the Power Tour for roughly 4,000 miles.

2006 Dodge Viper - Paxton Blown, made right under 700 rwhp. Averaged 24.5 mpg on the highway, if I stayed out of the throttle.

    In 2007, it was this

2006 Pontiac GTO - Monaro conversion. This car got outfitted with an APS Twin Turbo Kit. Made roughly 540 rwhp on Pump gas. Pure sleeper and very comfortable.

For 2007, here are roughly 1,300 photos from the trip. Cleveland, OH to Little Rock, AR

For 2008, here are roughly 1,500 photos from that trip. Little Rock, AR to Madison, WI

Ask me questions. I am bored. I will also, be posting the pictures from those linked files so you guys can get the Hi-Res versions. (Well largest I have.)

These are a blast and if any of you guys are going to be around, you should come on by and check out the cars. Maybe I can buy some of you guys a round of beers.

    :coold: Can't wait.

I used the dirty pic of the viper because every year, there is ONE stop at least with shitty weather. So cool to see all of these people enjoying their rides. You got to love it.

It is where it was originated and ran for many years. I think there are too many vendors and suppliers in the mid-west for them to move away from. Purely a money thing and it really sucks.

I would rather it go either west or FAR east again. Those drives through the Ozarks, Blue Ridge, smokey mountains are AWESOME.

too far to drive just to drive a long ways.

It would cost like 600 bucks in gas just to get a car to the start :o
