Anyone have experience hosting abroad? Any companies to recommend?

I currently have a couple servers with ThePlanet. While great, they're only in Texas. I'm looking for some servers to give good coverage over english speaking countries for now.

So I'm thinking I'll need some servers in Europe, East/West coast of US, maybe Canada, maybe Australia...

This is for a real time multiplayer game that I've written so I want to have good pings for as many people as possible.

I run a small hosting company based just outside London. We have a small suite in a datacenter (just 5 racks). We mainly specialise in shared and managed hosting, however, rather than dedicated/game servers.

If you're looking for value for money (i.e. cheap dedicated servers for your game :p) I'd recommend the following in the UK:-

    www.poundhost.com
    www.rapidswitch.com

Both are relatively large companies with on-site staff at the datacenter so you'll be in good hands. In France, Kimsufi (www.kimsufi.co.uk) is very very cheap. But they are cheap for a reason - the SLA isn't worth a shit and as such you probably wouldn't want to host anything important with them.
