WEB HostGator sucks!

    They won't even let me host CDude's uploader (v5.3.1) for personal use! :rolleyes:

    They said it could put too much load on their servers and could be exploited

    I want my penny back :greddy:

    That's probably because you're on a shared account with them. They'll probably let you if you own a VPS or dedicated.

    I'd check out the ASO shared accounts. They're not as picky.

    Yeah, if their damn server wasn't giving me a Internal Error 500, they wouldn't have ever known. :mad:

    i've got host gator unmetered shared plan.. and i host things on there i'm sure they'd not like. :mamoru:

    i was planning on hosting an mp3 file dump, where peopel can host their dj mixes :o. I was hoping i can make a frew quick bucks off the site and take advantage of their unmetered....

    so fucking gay :weak:

    been threatened plenty of times - in which I just moved to another plan with them. No black marks on the new account. Best they can do is threaten to shut me down over a hunch.

    I did that until I realized it was a waste of money, and one plan would just as easily host it all.
