I have hostgator for my business and it fucking sucks. If I have more than 3 email clients open with thunderbird, my PHP scripts stop working because I'm over the "allotted" processes.

anyone have any good shared suggestions since my boss is too cheap for dedi (and i dont think we really need it other than this shit)

No. It's just the connections to the IMAP are staying as processes or something. I logged into cpanel before and had 28/25 processes, 27 of them being IMAP connections.

Even though there should only be 9 =/

imap is always going to eat up a shitload of processes. have them kill all processes to see if the processes pop up again.
