Looking for a place to mass upload around 4 gb of photos. What's the best way to mass upload, instead of going to a place like Photobucket where you have to click browse, then select your photo, and repeat x1000

Pro account ($25/yr) doesn't have a space limit.

thanks that tutorial looks easy but just saw it's restricted to 1024x768 resolution =\

But also looking something for free. If i paid for a flickr account will i have the same option to "Select All" and click upload? Also will i able to make some images private and hidden from public?

with a free account you have the option to select all and select weather is public or private. Why would they give less options when you pay?

Also, if you get your own host, you can install Gallery (most likely just a click of the button option with the host) and there is a Gallery uploader that you install on your computer (I know Windows, not sure about *nix & Mac). It will resize them for you if you want and many other things.

yep own host + gallery ftw

a site like flikr or zenfolio will probably get your more exposure though :hs: the pro accounts are pretty cheap if you don't want to get your own host.

I use it all the time. much faster and easier if uploading more than a couple. and for some reason the main uploader takes forever on my mac

they have a program that you can download on your computer which lets you right click on a photo and upload it. but when you upload in batches, it has to go in the same set and all pics are marked the same either for private/public.
