I know most of this part of the forum is based on firearms. But I have taken up asiatic horse bows lately and its a hell of a lot of fun. Anyone else into this sort of thing?

I own a Istvan Toth Tatar 40# double recurve compsite bow. (hand made in hungery) about to upgrade to a 55# Hun style bow

I'm going to go out on a limb and say no one on this forum owns a horse bow

You buy it from Seven Meadows?

I was thinking about picking one up before the election went to the faggots.

Do you actually practice shooting them while riding on horseback? Seems like it would be a bit difficult.

Yes, seven meadows, I work with them, I am getting my symetrical hun tomorrow its . Archery is a lot of fun, and for the most part your ammo is reusable. I was just wondering if other people were really into it? I shoot my guns too. But when you see one of these bows in action its just insane. I am going to post up some videos or something.

I am going to learn the horse element this summer, and yes they practice from horse back.

I just started getting back into bow hunting, but I use a Mathews Legacy compound. My dad should be getting the long bow in that he ordered pretty soon. It's made by Martin.

    That's cool, bro.

I've wanted to get into archery but my time & money always seem to go elsewhere. I have a Japanese friend (back in Japan now, I met him here in the US a few years ago) who is an amateur champion. He had (at the time) 4 longbows and 2 compound bows. :)

I used to be into archery, and was reasonably good at it (got first in a few competitions), and then I discovered guns, and never really looked back :big grin:

I have a couple of my grandfathers bows. I took them out one day with a friend and we couldn't hit shit from 25yrds. We resorted to guns after a very frustrating hour :hs:
