Tonight I've seen back-to-back previews to horror movies that are guaranteed to be bad.

    Alone in the Dark
    Boogyman
    Hide and Seek

just to name a few. :ugh: They don't know what horror is, they haven't been on the internet.

Let me guess they're all PG-13.

They need to make more goofy and silly horror's like Evil Dead 1, 2 and Army of Darkness and the most recent Shaun of the Dead.

'Shaun of the Dead' = worst movie ever

I felt used for downloading it, taking up hard drive space.

I want to see characters like Jason, Mike Myers and Freddy killing thousands of people with butter knives and dull scissors...the eighties were truely great.

Think it all started with Ringu being imported from Japan and adapted for an American audience. So naturally, Hollywood didn't want to be left out of the hype and created their own wave of movies and the Ju-On adaptation (the Grudge).

DARKNESS SUCKED, for example. But White Noise was decent.

Darkness was heavily heavily edited. It was actually made like three years ago, and from what i have heard, the original "R" rated cut was a really good horror film.

I would've liked Saw better if the acting wasn't so horrible.

Saw had shitload of problems, but still was fun to watch. Plus it's a debut.
