Hormone question

    Despite some of you think i dont take shit seriously and am complete goof off..this is actually a serious question i have:

    Is there any correlation between test levels and how much or how little you release (ejaculate)? I know it sounds ridiculous but its more of a curiosity..i've noticed some of you are hormone guru's (or have enough experience to be one) so any input is appreciated.

    Yes and no



    I've seen studies that show that stimulation without release can increase free test levels as high as 150% of baseline. But the increase is short lived and I doubt it would have any actual impact in the grand scheme of things, except maybe on being frustrated.

    some of us here have joked that looking at porn without whacking off before your workout leads to a temporary test boost and a more aggressive workout, but it's not like we can prove that.

    Personal experience has taught me that chicken choking before a workout is a sure-fire way to lower motivation.

    Remember that a normal healthy male only needs a few days to build to a maximum sperm count, and after that they start dying off and replacing themselves, so there's no reason not to get your nut.

    There is a correlation with masturbation frequency and energy/motivation levels, but it has nothing to do with testosterone. Test levels peak after a week of no ejaculation but then go back down to normal levels the next day.

    i was more curious of the test levels and it effecting workouts/aggression...but i guess you can kind of answer my own question as far as aggression goes. When i don't get my D wet, as im sure with many of you we become animalistic and turn to our monkey ways..

    post sex - masterbation works outs probably not a good idea, as dopamine is already released, and usually when you work out your body is looking to release that dopamine. Note, that most boxers stop having sex 2 weeks before a fight....

    maybe. I still believe its a crock of shit and one wank off session before lifting shouldnt have any real effect on your lifting as long as your diet and sleep is on point.
