I have two PowerBooks that are on eBay right now. Hoping they sell for what I want so I can get a MBP ASAP. :x:

I know that I'm definitely dual booting Leopard and Windows. I'm just not sure if I should install XP or Vista. I'm in IT, so I use windows a lot at work. I'm happy with XP but I HATE Vista. Maybe it's just because the computer's I've used with Vista sucked. Which Windows do you guys have installed on your MBP and why?

If I dualboot, I can still boot that partition with VMware Fusion or Parallels right? Which is better?

    Thanks.

I have both XP and Vista running under Fusion. I only have Vista for testing. XP I use occasionally for stuff in addition to testing. My Windows test machine gets here tomorrow so I'll likely use Windows on my MBP and mini even less after that. Yes you can use Boot Camp installs through Fusion and Parallels. I prefer Fusion to Parallels but I don't know which works better when running a Boot Camp install.

My main reason for installing Windows is gaming. But I'd use it for other things also.
