    I just found part numbers for the letters on the trunklid of my '65 Imperial (I'm missing the 'E') :cool:

    just shave em off. clean looks much better :)

    And this particular one is rare among Imperials.

    1965 Imperial Crown Coupe (3,974 built)
    Mauve Metallic exterior (1 of 4 colors available with Black Plum --- NOTE: 18 colors available)
    Black Plum interior (only in '65, only in the Crown, only in leather --- other colors were available in cloth and vinyl)
    White Vinyl top (only available on 2 of the 4 colors available with Black Plum)

    FYI, while 4drs were also available with Black Plum, 4drs are bench seats -- 2drs are individual seats
