Im going to by some Pro Everlast training gloves soon and would like you guys to sway me one way or the other.

I have used both styles, but i really dont prefer one over the other.

I like the fit of the lace and the fact that I can tighten it up higher on the glove.

But, I also like how easy it can be to slip the hook and loop.

For the guys that train stand up, What is your preference?

I personally like velcro just for ease of getting on/off. I also prefer gloves I can't buy at Walmart :dunno:

He can't get those at Wal-Mart. Don't argue, you're wrong.

Everlast has gone down in product quality in the last couple years.

I would get ringside if I was you.

i've never used them, but all the new title gloves i've been seeing people use have looked really nice.

And what is with 12oz gloves being all the new hotness? Shit hurts son

I was lookin at some title 16oz's fuckin awesome gloves but they were out of stock till march 1 and i was not willing to wait at the time so i went with ringside. Both Title and ringside i believe are the top 2 affordable companies (I know reyes is prolly better but they are too expensive.

I was about to say that. Ive tried on several pairs of gloves but they never really felt to good the best gloves Ive ever worn are the title gloves. As soon as I wear down my current bag gloves im probably going to get the gel titles or the weighted title bag gloves

I like the velcro for ease but theres no doubt the laces are easier to get nice and firm.

yeah I keep hearing more and more good stuff about title. I just got a set of free gloves from my dojo but when those wear out I'll prolly get some titles.

I have tried both Ringside and Title, but these gloves are suppose to be the shit.

Most Pro's train in these or the super expensive Winning gloves.

Grant and Reyes are both Mexican made, so its not really good with padding. Most of the weight is on the wrist.

But what do you use? Lace or hook?

I've just heard the same thing from lots of people, that everlast's quality is shit nowadays.

I don't know what's good. one of my instructors like revgear but I'm not all that hot on it.
