good bike to start w/ ?
bike looks hot with fairings
yes, not bad. Let me know when you get it we'll go riding. Looks good with full fairings
Don't total it. Those are popular bikes.
Hawks are cool bikes. Huge following. Lots of internet support. Plus you can do some really cool things with them...
My friend stopped riding his RC-51 after he got his Hawk... Said the Hawk was more fun. :
riding fast on a slow bike is much more fun than riding slow on a fast bike.
I saw a few of those on cycletrader, a 2001 for 3k.
They don't make them any more. They were like late 80s early 90s. Honda NT650.
Oh ok, is there another Honda with the work "hawk" in it?
this one: http://adcache.cycletrader.com/5/1/8/71846918.htm
Yeah. That's a totally different bike. The Superhawk is a V-twin, "naked" liter-bike. It was Honda's version of the Suzuki TLS but, IMHO, nowhere as good.
But that ad you listed for the Superhawk is pretty damn good. That's a lot of bike for the money...
My Honda VTR1000 Superhawk
hawk is popular with honda, it seems.
Hawk, nighthawk, superhawk...
it follows the theme they had set for themselves decades ago with motorcycles and their hawk wing symbol over the name.
i love my superhawk...like sex on wheels. 1998 vtr1000 viper blue w/pearl. Carbon bodywork, jardine exhaust high mount, undertail, bitch delete seat, carbed, chipped, bored, cut shiftstar, polished frame, wheels, and a few other things i cant think of now.
I'm selling one with full gear (helmet, 2 pc suit, gloves), all brand new for $3500
bike is in perfect condition with about 22k miles on it
i want one and then get full fairings later.
or hell, jsut buy one with fairings and remove them till im a better rider
is it really that bad if it's been raced?
yes, a 1988 Honda Hawk NT650
Gray in color
22k in miles
absolutely nothing is wrong with it... runs perfectly and has never been dropped
wish i were closer... 3500 seems like a bit much, although i should consider it comes with all gear and low mileage.
not to mention the gear is brand new and still needs to be broken in
and I can guarantee that this is the cleanest hawk for sale in the US
still; shipping is the issue
