damn, I kinda like it.
and Temple of VTEC is still around? I went there back in 1997.
at least they took note of 100 years of automotive design and made rear-view viability excellent.
its a stylish car
but i think honda forgot how to make fun
That's ugly as fuck.
CR-X wasn't exactly a hot rod either and it was a blast to drive.
Wonder how hard it would be to drop in a RSX-S/S2000 motor?
its alot faster than this
thats basically a insight hybrid in a different shell
and i beg to differ that CRX's were particularly fun to drive
a DC2 Type R is the only honda ive enjoyed much
all you get from the article is a 0-60 time.
And if you didn't like the CR-X then it's probably unlikely you would like a more modern version.
0-60 in the 9 second bracket is not fast enough for me to enjoy a car
You come off as anti-japanese but whatever.
I love replacing IMA batteries with less than 100k miles on them.
This is aimed at younger customers and I LOL at the 9.7 second time. Who is going to want this dogshit? Even women will hate driving it at that epic slowness.
That's what I was saying yesterday. They've just taken the original Insight and tried to make it seem sporty. For many people, most of the appeal for sporting Hondas was that you could tune them to some degree. I don't think much could be done with a hybrid like this.
Instead of a sporty hybrid, I'd rather have a sporty diesel like the VW GTD. It's basically a Golf TDI w/ a similar appearance and chassis setup(diesel's extra weight dulls it a little) to the GTI.
I'd rather just get a Fit with the same engine, minus the IMA. At least I could tinker with it if I wanted to.
let us pray that this sells well... if it does perhaps we might get a sportier petrol model...
..or even better perhaps toyota will come w/ their hybrid version of the MR2 like some reports were saying...
It'll be like our favorite cars of the 80's coming back all over again...sorta.
pics are a repost
do not want
fucking fail... i'm done with honda
are you seriously calling someone out on a partial repost?
We'll be getting the FT86. If that can sell, maybe we'll be able to get a petrol MR2. Screw this hybrid crap.
That fucking sucks. Just like every 90's Honda, you have to put a bunch of performance parts on it to make it quick.
Although, I'll bet we see K20 and K24 swaps pretty quick on this car.
