It's never good when someone has to shoot, but it's always good to hear of the good guy "winning"

Good to hear about a justified shooting and the good guy not getting a bunch of stupid charge.

:wtf: how dumb was that criminal? First off, while he cases the joint, the owner sees him, asks him WTF he is doing, and the guy BS's. At that point, why did he think it would be a good idea to break into an occupied house? Then, after he broke in, and the owner said he had a gun...why did he keep going up the stiars?

    He deserves to be dead

Not likely, "Dead people can't talk." If the intruder was unarmed, tried to flee only to be shot in the back in the yard then maybe, but armed intruders don't draw much sympathy from a jury, so it's a low chance of being convicted of defending yourself.

Besides, not fatally shooting an intruder will only lead to a lawsuit where you'll loose all those belongings you defend for "attempted manslaughter" or whatever shit they come up with. Sadly its better to shoot them dead for your sake, but its good another peice of shit was taken off the streets :bigthumb:

civil and criminal charges are two different beasts. Just because the cops aren't pressing charges doesn't mean he won't still end up in court.
