ok, just picked up my new klipsch setup this week and had a question about where some speakers should go..

i got the RS-42 surround sound speakers.

initially i was going to put them behind my couch and do small presence speakers on the right/left on the wall...

however now i'm thinking that the RS-42's may be "too much" right behind my head and that they should go on the wall's and the smaller units should go directly behind my head...

here is a pic from the brochure...

according to the owners manual they can go either location.
    thanks!

Would it be too much work to try them in both locations and see what sounds best to you?

The back speakers are really just for ambience. They are gonna be loud or anything, and there is going to be no dialouge through them. I wouldn't worry about them much.
