There has been a rash of home invasions in my area. I have a lot of shit i'd hate to have stolen if someone breaks in, but I can replace...TVs, amps, etc....BUT all my rifles and other guns that are in my home I can't really replace. It's sad to think I have to hide shit in my own home, but if my home becomes a target...to hell with the other shit..I just need my guns. A safe may be my only option. One of those mammoth sumbitches, huh?

If you're really concerned about home invasion, to the point where you're carrying inside the house, I'd seriously consider

    Safes are cheap, relatively.
Greenlee Job Boxes are also good.

What if someone follows you home and forces their way into the house as you're letting yourself in? You'd be better if a loaded gun was in an accessible place.

A true operator wouldn't indulge vital information such as this.

There is no link, it's a reference to the gun culture when people refer to military shoters, specifically special operations types, or private military contractor types. I wanna say that it may have been Farnham that first started calling shooters "operators". Either way it's turned into a joke of calling people operators in a sarcastic manner.

H&K marketing. They may not have been the first but their attitude towards civilians has made them a laughing stock for casual/hobbyist shooters (aka not true operators).

Your neighborhood has had a lot of doors kicked in in the past few months, if you still live where you did a few years ago.
