Just set up a rack and dip station in the basement and it has one bulb hanging overhead. I was thinking of either getting a flourescent lamp deal (with the long tubes) or just adding more bulb fixtures.

lol i have 1 60 watt bulb for the lighting and a tiny window...can never work out at night because it's way too dark. during the day it is fine...the fluorescent lamp sounds like a good solution.

whatever you do don't get lights that will make the room really hot. I reccomend some relatively cheap stand-up lamps for the corners. That way you don't have to add fixtures and you don't get hot bulbs right above your head while you're working out.
