I've got a panasonic reciever that has been working fine for a few months now. But recently I'm having a problem where my centre channel totally cuts out after maybe 5-10 minutes of use. First I thougth the speaker could be blown, so I bought a new Yamaha centre channell... that didn't solve my problem.

Maybe there's a short in the wiring? or is my reciever fucked up?

    Thanks in advance.

It's time to get a new one. My old Sony Pro Logic receiver started doing that to me and I replaced it with a shiny new Onkyo HT-S770B HTIB. That was $5000 WELL spent.

The problem is probably due to a cold solder joint somewhere in the output stage. Shouldn't be too hard to fix (if that IS the problem).
Is the reciever going into protect mode?
