In a May 2007 interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Miller relayed that he was still at work on the graphic novel which he says is "... bound to offend just about everybody". Miller also said he was about 100 pages into the work, with 50 more to go

When I first heard about it I thought it was going to be an interesting story. I just hope it's more like the Batman from Dark Knight Returns, and not like All-Star.

Exactly. I think most people thought All-Star was going to be like Dark Knight Returns, but when it came out as it did, everyone was disappointed.

i wouldnt mind either, if he worked it like sin city a bit. i think that style would fit the batman perfectly. but that's just me.

Meh, most likely ill pass up on this. I can understand where he is coming from with the idea, but its just ridicilous to me, as most likely his reason for undertaking it has to do with the "war on terror", a war that has so far not resulted in much visible and, nor to my understanding, any viable results. As well as one that was undertaken for the wrong reasons.

Funny thing is that he most likely wants Batman to try and kill Osama, but if Batman represents America, then i find it funny that America is actually not looking for Osama Bin Laden for any terrorist activities in America :mamoru:

people thought they were going to get "The Dark Knight Returns" being drawn by Jim Lee...instead they got a ridiculous parody of everything Miller has done with Batman...and I think it's awesome.

i enjoy allstar for what it is. to expect it to be like anything else millers ever done is ridiculous. if the same people did the same shit over and over again it would get boring and stale and stupid. look at amazing spider-man
