I can [do pullups]. I could never do them in my entire life because my body weight to strength ratio was unbalanced. I did them last night, and although it wasn't many, I was still shocked and extremely happy to be able to do them. to working out and bettering oneself..

Nice! The best (for me) to gain strength and gain the ability to do more is just focus on doing as many as I can for a set amount of time. If that means 10 in one set, then 6, then 3, then 1, then 1, then 1, that's ok. It's just doing them at all that helps.

    nice work :)

pullups/chinups for me seems to be more about stamina than strength. hauling myself around is easy, its just being able to do em without fatigue (which is a nice theme for me lately :( )

    Thanks guys.. :)

Leo.. I'll have to get back to you on that, although I walk around a ton at work and don't get fatigued easily while pushing/pulling/hauling patients of all shapes and sizes.

good point, but also i think the body gets used to repetitious tasks. i can do jumping jacks for sets of 500, but cant run up the block without getting winded. lol

:mamoru: I'm basically the same way.. I used to play a ton of basketball, and during games I would run around like a maniac.. but when I was doing my school's 1 mile run, I was dieing.. :greddy:
