i injured my back deadlifting 10 weeks ago doing 415 when i was way too tired, been annoying the fuck out of me ever since and hurt even when i was getting up to 185!

started focusing on cleans which really made my back feel better for some reason. finally cleaned 205x5 (new pr) last week

today instead of getting pissed deadlifting as i used to... i decided to try out dling on the platform at my gym... that allows you to deadlift and take the bar all the way to foot level

(all good form and bringing bar down to foot level)
    95x15
    115x10
    135x10
    155x10
    185x10
    205x5
    225x5
    245x5
    275x5
    295x3
    315x3!

this was at the end of my workout... felt great, nothing feels better than finding a way around an injury :bigthumb: i think ill be hitting 4 plates again sooner than i thought

    thanks, im excited again

im wondering why this particular exercise worked for me, maybe due to the increased leg drive from bringing the bar so low

there's more potential for injury when you place them at the end of your workout

 Somebody could give you $1,000,000,000 no strings attached, and Ceaze could argue why you shouldn't take it.

yes, the volume was due to me not expecting to do the exercise, when i wasnt injured i was doing:

    week 1
    135x10
    185x10
    225x10
    275x5
    315x3
    335x1
    365x1
    385x1
    405x1

    week 2
    135x10
    185x5
    225x5
    275x5
    315x5
    335x3

and i alternated, its still alot of sets, but i guess it just felt right when i was doing it... maybe im an idiot
