I came back to this and to my utter disgust, this game is a heap of garbage.

The handling is all fucked up. I've probably spent an hour trying to get a good config for my Logitech DFP so it doesn't feel all drifty. I have a Stage 1 Civic SI and behaves more like a real wheel drive car.

The AI is so damn garbage, constantly making stupid mistakes, crashing in a big pack in the very first corner of EVERY track and the invitational races are damn near impossible thanks to the rubberband AI.

It definitely isn't. I was feeling it better before but now I can't find a right set-up no matter what I do. It's like the damn car wants to oversteer no matter what. Its damn near impossible to have a clean lap without running into the borderline retarded AI.

The Veyron Invitational is just the Nurburgring with obstacles.
