    Okay so today I ate a cous cous wrap since I usually pick vegan options over meat and other crap...well I go online after and look at the nutrition facts for it and it says 833 calories and 169 carbs :ugh:

    is this a misprint or what? 800 fucking calories for 1/2 a cous cous wrap?

    it was just couscous, little bit of black beans, tomato in a green wrap and they were serving the wraps by halves. I ate 1 half.

    Is something wrong or did I seriously just eat 800 calories in 1 half of a wrap?

    According to thedailyplate.com....

    Cous Cous Serving Size: 100g; Calories: 355, Total Fat: 1.9g, Carbs: 75.5g, Protein: 13.5g

    It's possible I guess.

    The info you got was likely incorrect. Not only do the carbs/cals seem high but there is no fucking way a couscous wrap (1/2 of one) has 24g protein.

    Nonetheless, that is a terrible choice for a healthy meal. You're falling into the retard trap of thinking that something is good for you because it's "not meat" or "is vegan", etc...

    A couscous wrap is made up of nothing but carbs.
    Couscous = 100% carbs
    Wrap = 100% carbs
    Black Beans = Mostly carbs

    I don't think you consumed 165g worth, but certainly at least 75g of carbs, and very little healthy fat or protein in that meal.... It's just a terrible choice all around.

    That still wouldn't make sense though. If they gave you the nutritional info for the beef one then fat would be super high and carbs would be lower because large amounts of couscous (a starchy carb) would not be accounted for.

    You sure it's grade D?

    They don't have any other higher protein options that are not loaded with useless carbs?

    umm...in the US meat is not graded with a letter system....so there is not way possible it was Grade D because it doesn't exist....

    Dorm food is the only source of healthy foods at my school. All you can eat lean meats, eggs, tuna, peanut butter, yogurt, cottage cheese, milk. Everything basically. Wish i still had the pass to get in.

    not here...yesterday they had chicken fingers for dinner which was the healthiest option. 1 Tender was 300 cals :ugh:

    I usually just get something small and get a big ass salad with a shitload of veggies and rasp vinnegrette dressing.

    Shit I dieted a whole fucking semester on dorm food.

    Breakfast was an egg white omelette, lunch was grilled chicken with large salad (no dressing), and dinner was grilled steak and onions. These werent normal on the menu items, but I would ask for them, and they'd make it for me.
