I cant find much out about the scope other than it cost $300-$350 new depending on where you get it from.

I'd plan on ditching the scope/mounts/base/stock myself.....

The mounts are the elevation adjustable rears, which I'm wanting to say were originally a Millet design. Either way, multiple people make them, and they all suck. The rear ring (where the screws are) is prone to coming loose/moving and doing strange things to your zero. I've had Leupy mounts do it on a 10/22, which cost me a match and a lot of time before I figured out WTF was going on. The dual dovetail mounts are better, but other designs are much better still.

Scope looks like a behemoth, and I'm wanting to say that the variable Elite line has dick for vertical elevation travel.

Might not be a bad trade.... You could flip the stuff on there, and be into Talley Lightweights and better glass for probably $3-500.

 Scope looks comically big. I'd keep the AK and just buy the 10FP later, not like it has a high probability of being banned

no, hang onto the WASR until that type of stuff gets really hard to buy and sell it at a huge profit.

then go buy 3 or 4 10FPs cause they aren't going anywhere.

I have a smaller elite 3200 on my 10/22. It is a nice scope for the money, so unless you want to spend more for a scope it's not bad.

keep the AK. If the prices weren't absurdly inflated, I'd say consider it, but the way things are now, why do it?

Given the current uncertainty of a possible incoming ban the ak would be more valuable and harder to replace.
