i would assume alloy would be ok, besides you have 50 of em, if one goes funky just switch it out, besides no rust > rust,

Yeah thats what I'm thinking just want someone to confirm for me before I place an order and I want to do it soon before they sell out, I dont mind having to refinish them if the steel are in fact better, I've refinished a bunch of alum AR mags before with the finishes worn off, and I have some AK mag's I want to refinish anyway. for the price maybe I should just order a batch of alloy and a batch of steel :o I'm so bad with this shit when I see a good deal, I already have ammo and mag's for guns I dont own yet :o And these fuckers wont ship the mag's to NY even though I'm sure these mags are as old as I am and legal here, Sportsman's guide did same shit with there AK mag deal so I have to have it sent to relatives out of state :hsd:

worst case scenario is that you sell em on gun broker 10 mags 20 bucks or 50 mags 100 bucks, you could easily make money off of them if you dont like em, in my mid clean is better over rusty

Yeah I plan on selling probably half off I dont see myself needing 50 mag's, as long as its just surface rust I dont see the rust being a problem a few of my sportsmans guide mags had surface rust. I sanded them still have to put a finish on them but they'll look new when I'm done with them, all the followers and springs were functioning fine.
