    let's play "interpreter"...

HJC's polycarbonate helmet line, the CS and CL, have been banned for use AT ONE TRACK, with no definitive proof that the helmets in question are truly dangerous.

but you fucking idiots will believe anything, i guess.

If it can pass DOT and SNELL, i have no reason to go against it. It's just hard as a mothafucka to get an HJC ventilated.

also its certain models... yes there a quite a few shitty HJC helmets... but there are also good ones like my old AC-11 which IMHO is better than the bottom tier Arai's

brand sackriding ftl.... some models are good, some models are bad

as a racer up with LRRS, it is not the entire HJC line ... its the one with the plastic shell, and that do not meet the SNELL SA requierment. Snells saftey is actually more of a car testing saftey measure, as they perform fire tests on the helmet.

I am a support of this move by LRRS, as the results they have right now speak for themselves.

I think the fact that the majority of the racers are wearing HJC helmets means if someone crashes and hurts themselves, the odds are good they where wearing an HJC helmet. I have an HJC CL helmet, and after reading that article, I have no plans on running out an replacing it. If I was racing, maybe, but I'm not, and it has SNELL and DOT approval, so I'm good.

and what makes you think the $300 ones are the best? have you read the helmet sticky at the top? it sheds alot of light on helmet safety

I have a VR-1 by KBC, I crashed at louden last year, I went down hard (highside actually). I said I was going 60 to 65mph, at least. I landed on my left shoulder and then the helmet hit the ground hard. I remember perfectly how it sounded. my helmet held out perfectly.

shit I even had people that wanted to take the helmet from me and fix it...

    cheap asses.

I bought a new bike and got a HJC (CL-14) FREE that came with the bike. Hells no I'm not putting that shit on.
