Hitachi, Seagate or Western Digital?

    personally I like seagate drives, I've seen more failed WD and Hitachi drives than I have seagates.

    I have Western Digital for one of my drives, but I prefer Seagate

    :werd: We see the highest failure rate from Maxtor. Western Digital are pretty good as are Hitachi. I prefer Seagate though.

    Holy crap, I ordered that drive yesterday afternoon -- they shipped it last night and it's out for delivery today :wiggle:

    I just called Seagate customer support and the woman told me that Seagate doesn't do support for Mac, and then she hung up on me.

    i've always been a fan of WD drives. I have a Maxtor external too that's been running like a champ for the past 4 years.

    Dont use anything but Seagate.

    a hard drive is a hard drive. it doesn't care what machine it's going in.
