My max a few months back (just before my cut) was 295x5 and stuck there. After my cut, I lost some strength and decided to work on my form at the same time. I worked from 225 up to 275x4, which is what I've been stuck at for about 1 month

    Today I did:

    10x225
    6x245 (barely finished this set)

I thought about just leaving it on 245 and doing 4 reps, but something in me said fuck it. I thought to myself, "I'm going to break 300 today or I'm going to stop lifting altogether." I loaded 315 on it and pulled it for 3 reps and that ends the saga of not being able to break 300.

Edit: Hit PR's on incline bench, flat bench, and bent-over rows, but my PR on DL overshadowed them all :)

:werd:...315 isn't much compared to people on F&N and what I want to pull (500), but I'm on track.

I'm doing Arnold's Level I routine. It's a 3 day split 2x a week...I really like it. I thought 6x a week with this much volume would be too hard, but I'm making nice gains. I do however take 3 days off every 2-3 weeks to let my body rest (so I'll go 3x that week vs 6x). Seems to work really well.

for some reason the image of a track star and someone lean pulling 500lbs is a hard image to put together, but go at it mang

I'm not a track star :dunno:, but I still plan on being lean (<10% BF) when I'm able to pull 500. It's not going to happen anytime soon, but I'll get there.
