So I hired an indian company to do some work for me from a website called scriptlance . They are going to be promoting my bans store and another web site that I have.

They are supposed to do back links forum posts shit like that, i've got a buddy who just has 1 ban store and pulls in about 1200 a month.

Anyone had any success with ebay affiliate program? I"ve made 15$ in two days but that was with just me posting links to the sites. So now i just passed the work off to someone else ;)..

they are not sending out emails.

Details about this blacklisting. You think this was a bad choice? Other people i've known have done the same and had a lot of success.

How much are they charging? What are they guaranteeing? Are you paying for rankings achieved? I'd suggest using a company that only charges based upon rankings achieved. Link for reference of a company I've used in the past http://www.rankpay.com

Ive been looking at some quotes from indian companies for some of my customers. It is amazing how much their rates have gone up. Pretty soon Indians will be paying us to do their code.

    $200/hr consulting
    $100/hr architecture
    $35/hr design
    $45-$60/hr development

That is about the average from 3 development companies that my customers have asked for quotes from. (3 different customers, 3 different indian companies) A couple of years ago the prices from those same companies was half of what they are today.

I know many are cheaper, but I am already amazed that their rates are so high.

Personally, I hate dealing with the indian companies. They are difficult to communicate with. It usually means I have to call india at midnight and try to understand them. They are great with .net, but terrible with HTML and CSS.

Indian companies i would watch out for when outsourcing your SEO stuff. They might and i say MIGHT do a decent job on on-site SEO.. However the off page stuff like inbound link building is a very important part that is crucial to your website's ability to rank.

The thing you have to realise is that Search Engines rank for pages, and Directories rank for "sites".

A lot of these indian companies will submit your site to 1000000 directories and thousands of sites that might have no relevance to your topic. Seeing as search engines actually analyse the sites that are linking TO you you might actually de-value ur websites by hiring these guys.

India is not practical for outsourcing anymore. The Philippines is the new India.
