    Who knows what the US Military danger pay is? I thought it was a couple hundred.

    Awesome to hear that. Hopefully he'll also resolve the problem of not getting paid if you get injured in the Sandbox and get sent back home.

    Gen. Hillier is an awesome CDS.

    Yeah, the pay for going on tour is pretty frigging nice. Since very little Canucks also want to leave, they need to shake a couple of pennies in our face.

    Hopefully I'll go as an Lt... 6months at $4500/month tax free + $2,100 + $510 = ~$42000 for 6 months of work, plus about $30000 for 6 months of pretraining.

    $70k right out of college doesn't sound too terrible. And that's for an Infanteer. :hsugh:

    Soldiers I've herd usually take home 6k a month while in A-stan.
