How does this sound for a HIIT day?

    30 seconds speed bag
    30 seconds heavy bag
    30 seconds rest
    30 seconds jump rope

1 set = 2 minutes, so repeat until finished

Heavy bag and jump rope are the sprints, speed bag and rest are the jogs.

Sound OK or am I kidding myself?

I know for a fact the bags and jump rope are good shit. Do you know how to throw a punch right and have gloves / wraps?

You could also just do sprints on the heavy bag, might be better then switching the entire time.

I kind of remember. It's been a long time. I did my first session today and it looks like everything came out OK. No pain in wrists/elbows. We'll see tomorrow and the next day, though.

Very fun! I liked it and I'm looking forward to hitting the bags and the rope again next HIIT session.

If I should do rope/speedbag/rope/heavy bag and do the rope as the jog, that might be a little more high intensity. The speed bag IS a jog, though. At best. For me, anyway. I'm just getting started, so I'm pretty slow at it. I think I'm at about 1/3 the speed of the boxers I see in movies and shit.

Maybe just heavy bag/rope/heavy bag/rope. Save the speed bag for fun.

Yeah, that sounds good. Heavy bag/rope/heavy bag/rope? My upper body isn't up to heavy bag/heavy bag/heavy bag/heavy bag. I'd be out in two minutes, I'd like to get to at least six minutes.

Make sure your technique is on point for bagwork.
I see so many idiots in the martial arts room at my college gym doing retarded ass striking on the heavy bag.
I may only know limited striking technique, but the shit I do know I do correctly.

All that said, bag work HIT rocks. Pyramiding ftmfw.
