So I'm not new to training, but it's been years since my abs have been visible. I have kept up well with my weight training using HIT (not interested in getting into a debate over this, it works for me so go and lift 8 days a week if you like). I've kept my muscle and strength levels at a good level, but am looking to lose some fat. Over the last few years I've gained a bunch of weight (divorce and a lot of weed made me lazy and ate a lot). Now that I'm not smoking (no problem with those that do, I certainly smoked my share), I've been feeling a lot more energized and have gotten my diet back on track. I'd like to do add some exercise that will help me to burn fat a bit faster and have pretty much settled on HIIT. I've used it in the past and it's been effective for me. Anyone have any opinions on what might be more effective? PS, I will not juice- I did that in my 20's and those days are over.
