high volume on back day ftw

    i dont think my lats have ever been sore the day after back day. they're sore today.

    rack pulls 4x12 for warmup
    pullups 11ty sets to 50 reps
    seated rows, 8/8/6
    yates barbell rows, 8/8/8/8
    yates dumbell rows, 8/8/8
    one arm db rows, 8/8/6
    shrugs, 8/10/12/12

    what, no high volume bodybuilder type splits on this forum anymore?

    should i have said i did 1 rep for everything to get more responses?

    You should have posted pics of your front lat spread, King G.:wavey:

    I like high volume myself...but with relatively low reps and more sets.

    soreness doesn't necessarily = hypertrophy

    that being said though, now that i think of it my back day is probably a little higher in volume than most other stuff i do.

    (62:012/ 32sets/ 200 Total reps)

    machine rows (60sec rest)
    120/6x3
    120/6(90/6,60/12 dropsets)x1

    bent over raises (60sec rest)
    25's/6x4

    i used to do so much volume on my back day when i did a 1 bodypart/day split

    now, since i'm doing an upper/lower, it's not so much, especially since my back is (in my opinion) the most developed part of my body :dunno:
