I've been traveling a lot for my job and it would be more practical if I could take something that doesn't need to be kept cold

I sometimes make PB&J but that has more fat and sugar than I care for, does anyone have any ideas?

straight out of the can or what?

I guess if I make it into a sandwich the morning of, it won't really go bad in 6-7 hours

either out of the can or you can get those flavored packets

also beef jerky, especially if you can make your own at home with low salt and low fat

beef jerky is extremely expensive in Canada, I can't really remember if it is because they can't add a certain additive or because there is a cartel like there is with chicken here

albacore is by far the best testing, although I heard it has more mercury and it is generally more expensive
