I'm sure theres a huge debate on this somewhere - but simple question. If I'm just looking to be healthy, am I better off doing about 15-20 mins of cardio with my HR at 185+, or 45-60 mins of cardio with my HR at 160ish?

    21yr old male, 5'7, 155lbs.

for heart health? longer at a lower HR...if the HR gets above a certain level it is borderline anerobic exercise...

If you're just looking to be healthy, why would either of those interest you?

Otherwise the higher the intensity the stronger the heart.

Define healthy for me then? No sarcasm, maybe my uh, view on this is diffrent then most. Just seems like everyone should do some decent cardio every now and then.

I'm perfectly healthy according to my doctor and i never do cardio. I think diet is the biggest factor.
