    angryguy posted this shake

    1 cup of oats
    2 scoops of whey
3 tablespoons of oil of your choice
1-3 table spoons of sugar for taste.
blend in 15-20 floz of milk

I think its about 1000 cals, not bad.

I'm drink that right now

I also have a lesser known higher calorie recipe involving rice that people presumed was awful tasting but I also like. Goes down real smooth. :yum:
Just to be clear, it uses soft/wet rice, not fried rice or anything.

Those weightgainer shakes are full of junk calories. Like what was said, make your own. I use Muscle Milk though, which is pretty high in cals.

Heres mine, its pretty heavy, but its been working real well

    banana 170 cal
    cup oats 300 cal
2 tbsp olive oil 260 cal
3 scoops ON whey 330 cal
    4 cups milk 520 cal
    2 tbsp PB 190 cal

equals 1770 cals, I usually drink it in two small shakes, tastes good, IMO

When I was in the midst of bulking, I had two of these a day:

    In a blender:

    1 cup raw oats
    2.5 cups vitamin D milk
2 TBSP peanut butter AND/OR 2 TBSP olive oil
    3 scoops ON chocolate whey

Comes out to between 1100-1400 calories depending on amount of olive oil/PB you put in, and is easy to down. I usually eat a little bit afterwards, even.

Two of those a day, each after 2 decent sized meals..

3 other meals during the day somewhere

    Lets total that up:

2800 calories from the shakes + 5 meals (500 calories each, lets assume they're small ) = Well over 5000 calories total. Lightweight.
