Hi F&N, It's been a few years since I've been here, but it looks like a lot of the same people floating around. Was really into being a generally healthy/fit person up until about age 19-20 which is when I started partying a bit excessively and basically stopped working out altogether. Anyways, I'm 23 now. I work for a distribution center and up until recently was out on the floor lifting heavy ass boxes for 10 hours a day. This actually got me back into a 'healthy lifestyle' I lost a lot of body fat and bulked up a bit from all the hard work. I've been hitting the gym 3-4 nights per week for about 6-7 weeks. Started out at around 205 pounds 19% body fat, resting heart rate of 66. Now I'm at about 210 pounds, 16% body fat, and my resting heart rate is now 59. When I was 18-19 and into this stuff, I think I over-thought what I was doing, and was perhaps obsessed, and sort of burnt myself out. I'm finding keeping it simple for now is whats working best: eating right, taking measures to avoid injury, and lifting big. Hoping to remain a part of the community and keep progressing this time around.
