I found out I have a dealer right next to my work that sells the 9mm for 199.99 Thats a bit higher than what gunbroker has them for but after a $40 FFL fee its pretty damn close.

they're not pretty, but they're functional. You'll hear a lot of hate from people on the internet that have never fired a hi-point about how shitty they are.

Yeah I've noticed that. Glocktalk had a very positive thread about them though.

It's kinda like fucking a fat chick. She might be a great lay but do you really want your friends to see her.

Ugly, yet cheap and uber-reliable. Makes for a good truck-gun that you can toss around and not worry about.

I've never seen one have a problem. I own the carbine and my friend owns a 9mm pistol. Great guns for the price.

I've always wanted of of their ugly-ass carbines then pick up ATI's stock for it. I've heard good things.

i think my most reliable guns have been my Sig 228 and my Oly AR

neither have had an malfunctions.. i've put about 1000-1500 through my sig and about 2k-2.5k through my oly.

I'd rather pick up an old early frame glock for $300ish and really not worry about it. ymmv.

A friend of mine has a carbine, and it jams constantly on me. I've shot the pistols, and they are fat and all around uncomfortable to shoot.

The local gun store sells them for $100 - $120 all day long. I've known a lot of people to regret buying them after about a month.

One of my shooting buddies had one of the 9mm pistols. It was his first gun and bought it before he knew anything about guns beacuse it was cheap. The first time I shot with it, it jammed more than 5 times in 3 mags. I've read about their "reliability" and thought that something must have been seriously fucked on his (or it was all internet hype). He ended up selling it for what he bought it for and bought a taurus 24/7. He's happy now.

The glock 19 I shot at the range had 3 jams in 100 rounds. Maybe it's cause it's a range gun though.

depends on the frame. The metal ones sucked. You'll be hard pressed to find a bad review of the composit frames.
