I'm by no means short, I'm actually average height at around 5'9, 5'10. But i seriously stunted my growth in middle school/high school with bad eating habits. I used to drink lots of coke/coffee and hardly ate anything at all, probably 1500 calories a day for 5 years, most of it coming from soda. When they used to do those predictions at the doctors office in elementary school and middle school. They always said I should be about 6'2 to 6'4. I'm 20 now and probably have no growth spurts left. I was wondering if anyone thinks a doctor would prescribe me HGH based on the fact that i fucked up my growth so much. Theres many situations I find myself in that it affects me mentally. I feel undersized compared to my family and friends. I think I've i grew, even a couple of inches it would get rid of alot of my social phobias. But I've always heard that there could be some bad long term effects from HGH, anyone know? And if I can't get it from a doctor, does that stuff (i forget the name) that supposed to make your body produce it naturally actually work?

a doctor will not prescribe it to you unless you had some other problems than height. 5'10 isn't exactly short. The main sides to look out for is swelling of the internal organs

I don't think you gain height with HGH anyway.

at your age, your growth plates are nearly fused and no amount of HGH will greatly effect your height. At this point it will only make you grow horizontally, as in bigger and denser bones and muscles.
