I'm currently in the market for something quick or atleast quicker than my current ride which is a 94 Caravan :o
I was looking at a very well maintained '87 RX-7 that was in a very good condition but waited too long and now its gone.

I don't know much about VWs but this Jetta has a really good price and it will be obvious that there will be problems with it. In the photo it doesn't look like its in good shape and I'm wondering if its worth the time to check it out or even consider purchasing. I need to know what would be problems to look out for because i want something with minimal fuss cuz i really dont have much money. If its good, this price would be an incredible deal.

Thanks in advance for any intelligent responses

I have had two different friends with mk3 Jetta's. One was a GLS and the other a GLX. Both had a very large amount of electrical problems. I'd advise to look at something different.

i sure hope that has more than 1 mile, but i would buy that in a heartbeat, they dont have that many electrical problems, mostly just window regulators

they shouldnt break very often in il, here in vegas the heat makes the plastic brittle, but they are 80 bucks at the stealership and like 75 at discount parts places.
