I figured I'd make a thread about this since there's been so much commotion over when you should tell the person. I'll probably delete this thread in a few days, but I just wanted to make it now. There had been a lot of comments like "omg you like me so much" in the past few weeks. This kind of stuff is always a predecessor to dropping an L bomb, in my experience. Anyway, we were in her bed and we had woken up a bit earlier and were cuddling/messing around/etc. I was like "just so you know, I'm totally falling in love with you." Her smile gets bigger and she's all "good." I laugh. Then a bit later, I rolled over with her so I was kind of on top of her, and I was like "wow, you had the biggest smile ever when I said I was falling in love with you. I think if I told you I loved you your head would've exploded." She laughed and said "well then you better not say it until you mean it." So a bit later, when the correct opportunity struck, I seized the moment: Me: I love you. Her: Shut up, no you don't! Me: Hmpf! Fine, then! Then a few seconds pass... Her: Omg! Say it again so I can say it back! Me: Baby, I love you. Her: I love you, too! (huge kiss) Her: You know I love you. Me: Yeah, I was pretty confident you'd say it back. Way to throw me for a loop, there. I should've just rolled over and went back to sleep. Her: Yeah right, we would've ended up in this situation again anyway. Me: Oh really? Her: *punch* So that's my story. We're like two months in for those who want a timeline.
