My friend lost my GB SD card, so he's buying me something >$100CND to make up for it :squint:

$100 isnt much, so Im looking at used equip at the local camera store.. My top priorities are:

    1. tripod
    2. wide angle lens
    3. flash

camera is nikon d50, I've narrowed it down to these items:

    N/AF NIKON 28-80MM F3.3-5.6G $99

    N/AI TOKINA 28MM F2.8 $89

    NIKON SPEEDLIGHT SB-50DX $89

    N/AI KITSTAR 28MM F2.8 $90

I figure there arent any tripods available at $100, seems most think $100USD is a good price for just the legs.. but I dunno bout the whole thing.

Will 28mm be suitable for wide angle shots?

    Let me know.

go for an external flash, you can get a SB-600 for around 150, its not as powerful as the SB-800 but im sure you wont need most of the features and you will have the ability to bounce flashes..very useful

    i use a 28 for a walk around lens....its a bit wider than a 50mm on a 1.6 crop canon, so on a nikon it'll be a bit wider
