First a background....I used to weigh 170lbs and i'm 5'9 right now i'm at 195 and still 5'9. I was skinny because I used to play football and workout everyday in the weight room.
I did pretty average benched like 285 and squated like 410 or something or another. I've never really been serious about lifting butttt.....

I came onto this forum and saw some of you guys in your pics and I got sad and so I started working out...well it's been a week really when I say working out. Anyways, I had been going to the gym and not doing very much besides running. I ran on a treadmill but when I went outside to run I almost fucking died running 15 minutes straight...also, how should i break up my days to get the best out of it?

    cardio/upperbody
    cariod/lowerbody
    off

that's what i'm doing right now... :wiggle: Thanks!

running is about pace and endurance more than gym strength. go to the gym, hit it hard. dont worry about cardio so much as lifting heavy and lifting hard.

I don't know what blinger squats are.

So I shouldn't worry that much about running and focus more on just lifting?
and I don't know if this has relevence or anything to the kind of stuff I should be doing but i'm 17

Ummm....I used to dig it and I was pretty into it when I dropped to 170lbs and got moved to D-end fullback, and played 2nd string varsity. But my Junior year I started both sides and it just wasn't fun. JV is pretty fun but Varsity is a whole different game and you really need to be there to win, you can't be there to have fun. Also, all the hot chicks where in the production drama program so I did that :coold:

you benched 285 and squated 410 at the age of 17. weighing 175.

    while knowing nothing about lifting.

and with these stats, you stopped playing football and joined the drama club.

your either really fuckin stupid or lying out of your ass.
