I like the Sig although the P99 is the most ergonomic gun I've ever fired. Don't bother with the laser grips on the Sig. You can find the same one cheaper without the grips.

The Walther has a shorter trigger reset than a 1911

can't go wrong with either of those. I'd shoot both and see which you liked better - the triggers will be REALLY different.

Personally, I liked the 229 over the P99

I dont really like either of them.

Yes the walther feels good but their cust service sucks. And honestly it doesnt give me that much of a hard on.

Im not a sig fan by any means but I would probably buy it over the walther.. hell I would probably even think about a glock

Its about what works for you.

Personally the XD works extremely well for me. Some friends cant hit shit with it.. I shoot like shit with anything Smith and Wesson.

I also like the Kimbers but thats a 10mm fetish.

Go to the range and talk to people and ask to fire off a couple shots.

hell I bought a box of 9mm, 40 and 45 and asked to use peoples frames with my own ammo. No one ever had a problem and it was cheaper than gun rental

I know, so is the pictured walther. Did they ever even make anything for it?

Looks almost as bad as the 1st gen Steyr rail, er, slot, er, slots.

All joking aside, the Steyr does look like it'd be really comfortable to shoot.

Yeah I think walther put out a light for it and also a light/laser combo. Rails aren't a big deal to me on handguns though, I have no problem operating a gun and flashlight the old fashioned way.

I agree. I got a light for my Glock, but in order to activate it I either have to adjust my support hand or distract my trigger finger.
